Collection of Personally Identifiable Information
We collect personally identifiable information, "PII", when you are enrolled for a new fingerprint check.
i3 never sells your PII (name, address, phone number, email address, etc). With six exceptions, i3 does not share or in any other way transmit PII to any other entities. These exceptions are:
If our company or our assets are acquired by another company, that company will possess the PII collected by us.
Use of Demographic and Profile Data
In our efforts to continually improve our product and service offerings, i3 collects and analyzes demographic and profile data about our users' activity. i3 identifies and uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. The IP address may be used to help identify you and gather basic information. We may occasionally ask you to complete optional online surveys. These surveys may ask you for contact information and demographic information (like ZIP Code, age or income level). We use this data to tailor your experience at our site, providing you with content we think you might be interested in and to display content according to your preferences.
We may create anonymous records from PII by excluding information (such as your name) that make the information personally identifiable to you. We may use this anonymous information to analyze usage patterns so that we may enhance our services.
The security of your PII is very important to us and we are committed to protecting the information we collect. While we cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal information, i3 uses firewalls, encryption, and secure communication for all personal data we collect from you. We also employ many different security techniques to protect personal data against loss, misuse, alteration, and unauthorized access.
There are two options for changing and modifying the accounts, transactions and elections you previously made on FPCheck.com. Users can email i3 at firstname.lastname@example.org describing your requested change. Supervisors of an FPCheck-registered organization can modify and delete some fields directly.
